Taurus Mutual Fund was established on July 27, 1993 as a Trust sponsored by HB Portfolio Limited. It was in August 1993 when Taurus Asset Management Company Limited, got a green signal from SEBI to commence its mutual fund business and operations as Taurus Mutual Fund.
Taurus boasts a pioneering and dynamic history in India. As the first private player granted permission to manage investment profiles from NRIs and FIIs, Taurus has consistently attracted recognition.
Over the last decade, the Mutual Fund's success has drawn substantial investments from influential organisations, including the IFC in Washington DC and the European Commission Investment Corporation in Brussels, Belgium. Currently, Mr. Prashant Soni is the Managing Director & CEO of Taurus Mutual Fund.
