Invesco Mutual Fund was established on May 20, 2005 as a Trust sponsored by Invesco Securities and Capital Markets (India) Private Limited. It was in July 24, 2006 when Invesco Asset Management (India) Private Ltd., got a green signal from SEBI to commence its mutual fund business and operations as Invesco Mutual Fund.
Invesco Mutual Fund is a part of the US investment giant Invesco Limited. Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, Invesco Limited manages investments for clients across 120 countries with a physical presence in over 20.
Previously, Invesco partnered with Religare Securities for its Indian mutual fund business. In April 2016, they acquired Religare's stake and rebranded the entity as Invesco Mutual Fund.
Currently, Mr. Saurabh Nanavati is the Managing Director & CEO of Invesco Mutual Fund. Mr. Taher Badshah is the CIO (Chief Investment Officer) of Invesco Mutual Fund.
