About This AMC
Groww Mutual Fund was established in April 2008, as a Trust sponsored by Groww Invest Tech Private Limited (formerly known as Nextbillion Technology Private Limited). It was in March 2011 when Groww Asset Management Limited, got a green signal from SEBI to commence its mutual fund business and operations as Groww Mutual Fund.
Currently, Mr. Varun Gupta is the Managing Director & CEO of Groww Mutual Fund. Groww acquired the mutual fund business of Indiabulls Housing Finance (IBHFL) on May 3, 2023 and the closure of the transaction happened almost two years after Groww signed a definitive agreement in May 2021 to acquire the mutual fund business.
