About This AMC
DSP Mutual Fund was established on May 13, 1996 as a Trust sponsored by DSP HMK Holdings Pvt. Ltd & DSP Adiko Holdings Pvt. Ltd. It was in December 1996, when DSP Asset Managers Private Limited, got a green signal from SEBI to commence its mutual fund business and operations as DSP Mutual Fund.
The DSP family's investment legacy dates back to the 1860s with their initial venture into stockbroking. Expanding into investment management, they formed DSP Merrill Lynch Asset Management Company in a joint venture with Merrill Lynch.
Following BlackRock's global takeover of Merrill Lynch's asset management business, the company was renamed DSP BlackRock Investment Managers Ltd. in 2008. A decade later, in 2018, the DSP Group reacquired BlackRock's 40% stake, rebranding the company as the DSP Mutual Fund we know today.
Currently, Mr. Kalpen Parekh is the Managing Director & CEO of DSP Mutual Fund. DSP Mutual Fund offers 67 schemes across different categories and has an AUM of Rs ₹1,51,093 crore.
