Distributor

In the investing world, a distributor is an intermediary between investment product manufacturers (like mutual fund companies) and investors. Distributors market and sell mutual funds and other investment products to individual investors or through financial advisors. They provide information and guidance to help investors choose investments that align with their financial goals. Distributors often earn commissions or fees based on the products they sell. Mutual fund distributors appointed by AMC have to registred with Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI).
